Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been dating for roughly two weeks, but it’s a relationship 8 years in the making …

According to our sources, the two have been friends since 2004 — and have flirted on-and-off — but the timing was never right to pursue a relationship … until now.

We’re told both sides always felt a spark, but they NEVER acted inappropriately while Kanye was with Amber Rose … or while Kim was with Kris Humphries.

In fact, we’re told Kim was recently kicking around the idea of reconciling with Reggie Bush … but after hanging out with him in Miami a few weeks ago, decided the two weren’t compatible anymore.

Kim finally reconnected with Kanye in Paris when she attended his fashion show … and shortly after that, both sides decided to “give dating a shot.”

And so far, we’re told Kim has been super-impressed with the rapper … who pulled one hell of a surprise when they hit up FAO Schwarz in NYC a few days ago.

Sources say Kanye made some calls and had an entire floor of the toy store roped off so they could get a private lesson from a guy who taught them how to play “Chopsticks” on the over-sized piano featured in the movie “Big.”

Kim’s currently back in L.A. … but we’re told she plans to get her ass back to NYC as soon as possible to see him.

• Perhaps Kim Kardashian should’ve thought twice before loaning little sister Kendall Jenner a dress. The reality star, 31, blogged that her 16-year-old sibling borrowed her sleeveless black- and-white frock by Azzedine Alaia this week. Kim and Kendall had to know, however, that sharing clothes would leave the rest of us with quite a style showdown. Sounds like it’s time for our very first sister edition of who wore it best!

Up-and-coming model Kendall showed off her long legs in the dress. She sported it with a sleek ponytail, but otherwise let it speak for itself as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of “The Hunger Games” Monday in L.A.

More than a year ago, Kim made the design just part of her look for the NYC soiree celebrating the season finale of E!’s “The Spin Crowd” – remember that show?! – way back on October 6, 2010. Big sis Kim styled her hair the same way as Kendall’s, but she also added black tights, an oversized belt, and, of course, plenty of makeup.

This is one frock that we shouldn’t be surprised to see any of the Kardashian gals wearing, because they obviously adore it. “It’s such an amazing dress!” Kim gushed on her blog. “I got it when I was in Paris with my mom in 2010 when we met Mr. Alaia himself. I remember I always used to try on my mom’s Alaia dresses when I was younger, so I’m glad I have younger sisters I can share my favorite pieces with.” While Kim’s sentiment is sweet, the truth is, sisters or not, only one woman can emerge victorious. In this case, the clear winner for me is Kendall, thanks to her simple styling. Kim’s tights and belt are just too much to add when she’s already wearing a busy pattern. Do you agree?

Kim Kardashian Divorce Turns Ugly Reality TV On Trial

The Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries divorce has become a bitter fight, and we’ve learned Kris’ lawyer intends to put reality TV on trial … but that could blow up in his face.

Sources tell us … Kris and his lawyer, Lee Hutton, want to “expose the M.O. of reality TV” by proving Kim had no intention of staying married to him, but just wanted big ratings for her reality show.

Now here’s the irony. The duo wants to prove their point by asking the judge to allow TMZ and TV stations to broadcast the trial — something that the judge might find a tad hypocritical … not that we’re complaining.

TMZ broke the story … Kim filed for divorce on grounds of “irreconcilable differences.” Kris has countered that he wants the marriage annulled based on fraud.

Kris has a couple of problems with the fraud claim. First of all, he’s the one who proposed. Second, the publicity has made him famous and marketable and he’ll make millions more than he would have otherwise.

And another big point in Kim’s favor … We’ve learned the prenup is extremely long and complicated … accounting for what would happen years into the future. Why would she go through the time and trouble of having a long prenup if she planned on pulling the plug on the marriage within a few months?

The current issue of Reality Magazine features the cover story ‘Kris Marriage Confession – Yes, it was a scam.’  Wowser! The magazine is claiming that Kim Kardashian‘s husband Kris Humphries  is coming clean and admitting that their marriage that lasted a scant 72 days was a scam.  (Tell us something we did not know!)  They have all the details inside the $19 million deal that fooled fans and pumped up ratings.  They go on to claim that Kris is headed to court to get his ultimate revenge.

Rumor has it Kim hoped that her pre-nup with Kris would keep his mouth shut and her secrets safe but she was wrong. Kris has already called her reality TV shows and her butt ‘fake’ and is screaming about how he was duped by the fantasy wedding and marriage. . Attorneys for Kris are attempting to get the marriage annulled – which will also cancel the pre-nup and any protection for Kim that it provides.  I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait until Kris reveals all.  What about you, are you interested in finding out all the gory details?
